MOMO / Dumpling is one of Nepal’s most popular dishes which can be eaten as a starter, snack, lunch or dinner. It’s a dumpling filled with meat or vegetables with homemade dough. MOMO is eaten with soybean,Tomato and sesame seed mix Pickel. It is one of the must have food items in the Nepali restaurant all around the globe.

Ingredients for Nepali chicken MOMO / Dumplings:

(1) Ingredients For MOMO Dough

300g plain flour
175ml water, approximately

(2) Ingredients For Filling :

500 g Chicken ground meat
1/2 cup Red/White Onion, finely Chopped
1 cup Green/ White Cabbage
1/2 cup Green spring Onion Finely Chopped
1 cup Coriander, finely Chopped
¼ tsp MOMO Masala
1 tsp Red Chilli powder
¼ tsp Turmeric
Salt to Taste
2 tsp Fresh Ginger/Garlic Paste
3 tsp Mustard/ Vegetable Oil or Melted Butter
1/2 Cup of Water
